General Terms of Sale

  1. Introduction

1.1. These terms and conditions govern the sale of products through our online shop, www.Service-lab.co.uk.

1.2. By placing an order on the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. Definitions

2.1. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the online shop operator.

2.2. “You” and “your” refer to the customer.

2.3. “Products” refers to the items available for sale on the Site.

  1. Ordering

3.1. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

3.2. Once you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not signify our acceptance of your order.

3.3. A contract between us and you will be formed when we dispatch the products to you.

  1. Prices

4.1. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable.

4.2. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

4.3 International sales are subject to import taxes and charges which are the responsibility of the buyer.

  1. Payment

5.1. Payment must be made before the item(s) are shipped unless agreed otherwise.

5.2. Title to goods delivered shall remain vested in us and shall not pass to you until the goods have been paid for in full. If you fail to pay any invoice within 14 calendar days of the due date of payment, we may retake the goods covered by the invoice.

5.3. We accept payment via bank transfer.

5.4. If we cannot accept your order, any payments made will be refunded in full.

  1. Shipping/Delivery

6.1. We aim to dispatch products within 5 days of order acceptance subject to availability.

6.2. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

6.3. We are not liable for any delays in delivery caused by events outside our control.

6.4. Free UK tracked delivery is available to UK orders unless otherwise stated.

6.5. For International orders, shipping will be priced accordingly and provided via quotation. 

  1. Risk and Ownership

7.1. You must inspect goods delivered upon receipt. You are deemed to have accepted goods delivered unless written notice of rejection specifying the reasons for rejection is received by us within 5 calendar days after delivery of the goods.

7.2. Ownership of the products will pass to you once we have received full payment, including all applicable delivery charges and you have accepted delivery.

  1. Cancellation and Returns

8.1. You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

8.2. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel the order by a clear statement (e.g., by email or phone).

8.3. If you cancel your order, we will reimburse you for all payments received excluding delivery charges unless the goods have not been shipped.

8.4. You are responsible for returning the goods in the same condition with appropriate insurance for the value of the goods.

8.5. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

8.6. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after we receive back from you any goods supplied.

  1. Warranty

9.1. Products are covered by a warranty against defects as stated in the sales quotation from the date of sale.

9.2. Products cannot be returned without prior agreement.

9.3. Service lab’s obligation shall be to repair or replace, as its option, the applicable Product or part thereof.  If after exercising reasonable efforts, Service lab is unable to repair or replace the Product or part, then Service lab shall refund to the Client all monies paid for such applicable Product or part.

9.4. Warranty provided by Service lab will not apply in the event of:

  • Failure to install, use or maintain the Product(s) in accordance with any instructions, specifications or conditions of use provided by Service lab.
  • Fair wear and tear of the Product(s).
  • Accidental damage.
  • Defects arising from incorrect installation, misuse and/or insufficient equipment maintenance.
  • Service lab shall not be liable for any losses which are not reasonably foreseeable, or for loss of profits, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, loss of or damage to property or trademarks, or other indirect or consequential loss or damage, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, which arise under or in connection with this Contract.

9.6. Service Lab shall not be responsible for any damage to or loss of Products resulting from the transportation of Products and the Client must direct any claims relating to such damage or loss to the transporter.

9.7. All claims directed against the Client by any third party from the use of the products,

constitute indirect loss which does not give rise to a right to compensation from Service lab.

  1. Liability

10.1. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

10.2. We shall not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

10.3. Our total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with your order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the products.

  1. Governing Law

11.1. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11.2. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  1. Amendments

12.1. We may amend these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to your order are those in force at the time of placing the order.
